Our “to-do” list each year is almost as long as Santa’s Nice or Naughty list. Santa has his elves and we need our volunteers.
We need painters, costume designers, animatronic experts, archivists, and more.
Fill out our survey and we will be in contact. Plus, we’ll put in a good word with Santa for you.
Volunteering for Christmas in the Park is more than just putting up trees and decorations. It’s about being a part of a strong, community tradition. Christmas in the Park is made possible each year by community support.
Over 250,000 volunteer hours are required each year to put on this holiday event. We can’t do it without you!
We need Santas!
If you or you know of someone who would be willing to be one of our Santas, please read ahead.
Here’s what we need:
- Commit to minimum 3- 3-hour shifts for the season.
- Have “natural” Santa look (ie white beard) or willingness to wear a fake beard.
- Able to walk from hotel to Santa house.
- Preferred but not required…a Santa’s helper for their shifts
- Positive attitude and love for kids and Christmas in the Park!
- Any special skills…multilingual, sign language…earns you extra cookies and milk!!!

Possible Volunteer Duties
- Renovate and clean displays
- Sort lights and ornaments
- Special projects for groups
- Make/Repair costumes for animated figures
- Supervise other volunteers
- Park set-up
- Donation Collection
All signups can be completed online and do not require any paperwork to be mailed in.
